A newsletter for anti-imperialists

Our numbers grow and ebb, but as long as there is an empire we will also be here. Some of us. We put these words out into the world to feel less isolated and atomized as we fight the struggle for our own minds.

We have many methods and we happily mix them - geopolitical economy, environmental science, military analysis, media analysis, pedagogy, journalism, and even fiction - but history is our principal weapon here. If it wasn’t important, the imperialists wouldn’t be trying to falsify it all the time.

You may have come because you know the Anti-Empire Project podcast and the Civilizations Series. You may know books like Siegebreakers and Extraordinary Threat.

That’s what you can expect here: anti-imperialist writing, both narrative and didactic, grounded in history, with a few other tricks we’ve picked up over the decades.

I hope you join, I hope you stay, and find insights that help you in your own education.
